Well we are finally starting our replacement build for our Project Costing system ( for those in the know Access 2000 ). As part of this I have had to finish off an Overhead Forecasting and Commentry model I have built for my overly complicated reporting system for said company. Now I have to try and integrate the way it creates project numbers in Oracle Projects as well......Damn your eyes.........
OK, so we have finally decided at work to move off Lotus Notes. Well now we are trying to pilot some other solutions. Top of the list Oracle Collaboration Suite. Now thats all very well, it looks OK and fits in with our other Oracle stuff, but here is the problem, they want to run all the mail from Atlanta. So replace three regional mail servers with one.... Crazy.... and doomed to failure.
Damn it, I am finally sick of deleting all the comments, fromm people offering to enlarge my manhood and to reduce my debt. So I have now installed Mt-Blacklist. Hopefully this will reduce the tide of those nasty spammers.
Ah the Olympics. The chance for Seven to out rate every other network in Australia. Plus what a chance to see the gems of the sporting world. Handball and Table Tennis. And don't forget Greco Roman Wrestling...... hmmm, maybe we will forget that one.
