Gaza Stripped
Fun times ahead for the residents of the Gaza strip.
Welcome to the new Islamic Republic of Hamas-stan, where every Palestinian woman is obliged to wear the veil and all traces of corrupting Western influences, from pop music to internet cafés, are strictly banned.
The creation of a mini Islamic state in Gaza now appears the most likely outcome as the militant Palestinian group Hamas strikes against the more secular-minded government of President Mahmoud Abbas.
I'd have more sympathy for the Palestinians if they hadn't voted for the thugs.
As ye reap, so shall ye sow...
And a side note, the situation is the end result of the corrupt, autocratic and generally wretched rule that Arafat and his cronies perpetuated over their "people". More than anything, this should send the "statesman"'s reputation to the toilet, if it wasn't there already.

I'm back
Been a while, but I'm back. Busy few weeks with trips to Singapore and Malaysia and then straight back into the busy time of work.
Will catch up on blogging soon.
