Unnatural

sabrinah.jpg

Believe it or not, there are people who don't want to see this winsome young lass get her kit off.

My condolences for their apparent mental illness.

Deep Analysis

nasarallah.jpg

From a commentator "caspera" on this Ace of Spades blog entry talking about the above picture.

Even more compelling than the "white flag" is the child molester smile on Nazrallah's huge creepy face in the background. Check out his eyes. There's some good crazy there.

Even the cute Lebanese chicks carry around pictures of that guy, but let's face it. Nazrallah is uncool. He looks like a cross between Jerry Falwell and Ed McMahon with a turban and a beard.

I can understand enthusiasm for Che and sticking his face on stuff because when Che was young he was lean and good looking and advocated a revolutionary doctrine that had some intellectual appeal. Orianna Falacci who hated Khomeni had to grant that he was charismatic and was a "handsome man." What does that fat fuck Nazrallah have going for him? How can anyone possibly like him? He's a corpulent, hirsute, sweaty, presumably smelly, and menacingly avuncular creep and this is who they chose as the public face of their "revolution" and they disfigure their fair cities by hanging huge banners of his repellent face from every building.

And consider this. The Lebanese are the hippest, most modern, and most promising Arabs in that part of the Middle East. That's depressing.

Well...yes.

(And he's totally right about the Falwell/McMahon thing. Yikes!)

I guess I thought differently

Last week, I participated in a survey from the Daily Telegraph about terrorism.

Here are their results:

Most Australians believe we are locked in a losing war against Islamic terrorists and an attack on our home soil, most likely Sydney, is inevitable.

Pessimistic bunch, aren't we?

More here

For the record, I was far more optimistic than most of these people surveyed, but also indicated I thought foreign policy should be tougher and more focused.

I also answered that I considered Australian Muslims moderate by world standards, but keeping in mind that British Muslims were carrying around signs saying "BEHEAD THOSE WHO INSULT ISLAM.", that doesn't say a lot.

No fool like an old fool

The problem with the Australian Muslim community are its "leaders".

A Melbourne Muslim girl condemned by Islamic leaders for entering a beauty pageant has defied protests to be shortlisted for the Victorian final.

A spokesman for Melbourne cleric Sheik Mohammed Omran last week branded the competition, which involves swimsuit parades, as a "slur on Islam". And Victorian Islamic leader Yasser Soliman said the contest did not conform with the teachings of the Koran.

Well...a lot of things don't conform with the Koran, Omran, old boy.

But most of us don't require a book to do our thinking for us.

Mr Ahmet said the family respected their religion, but his daughter was entitled to participate.

"We are not flying any flags, we are Australians first and foremost," Mr Ahmet said. "We live in a democracy, we respect the religion as well, and they are good kids and come from a good upbringing."

That's the smartest thing I've heard all week.

Communism not so fun after all

I thought pampered leftist Westerners would never grow out of their crush on Fidel Castro's tropical gulag:

Well, better late than never:

Two years ago, I was given what quickly became an awful assignment. I was told to visit Cuba. Oh sure, like everybody I thought: dark rum, hot nights, fat cigars, the rumba.
The reality was very different. Cuba was wretched. Every day the photographer and I encountered distressing scenes of women, children and ageing Cubans living in terrible poverty.

There's plenty more info at the Real Cuba site.

How I would love to staple this on the foreheads of every dumb fucking Che lover from my former university....

Regardless, they've probably all moved on to fellating Hezbollah.

Good on you Fairfax

Sheesh, Fairfax, when reporting on the return of Iddin to his mother Jacqueline Pascarl, you could've chose a better picture of him.

Additionally, I find it interesting that his sister has not return to Malaysia since her arrival some months back, either...

Update: See Fairfax, a quick trip to the AP photo site, and you're all set!

Posted by Quentin George at 09:17 PM | Comments (2)

Where you been?

No updates for a while, because I've been:

A) Ill
B) Suffering some bad insomnia

and as a consequence, feeling shitty.

So sorry, or you're welcome....whichever way you want to look at it.

Proof any idiot can blog

The favoured puppet of the Iranian mullahs has his own blog!

But he's not going to like his poll results.

Early voting was split, with 65 per cent voting “no”, but hours after US site Fox News ran a story on the President’s blog, only 2 per cent of voters agreed with Ahmadinejad.

An online poll on the President’s blog asks visitors: “Do you think that the US and Israeli intention and goal by attacking Lebanon is pulling the trigger for another word (sic) war?”.

Let me pour salt in the wound.

Welcome to the blogosphere, moron!

Religious nut

When I pointed out the vast gulf between Hugo Chavez and his "idol" Simon Bolivar, I made an observation that Chavez' ideological foes in the US shared more qualities with the founding father of Latin America than tinpot despot Chavez.

Then, the religiosity issue was brought up.

But George Bush has got nothing on Chavez when it comes to being a Christian wacko.

So, Nutty Christian dictator cozies up with nutty Muslim dictator.

So much for the great "socialist" revolution.

Ho hum, what a surprise.

War is Peace

Memo to the Australian (and indeed, international media).

When large groups of people protest with signs saying, "Israel is a cancer that must be destroyed" and "Victory for Hezbollah", believe it or not, these people are not "anti-war".

They're pro-Hezbollah - that is, pro-war, but just for the other side.

Similar point raised by Gerard Henderson in the SMH, at the absurdity of these "peace rallies".

Meanwhile, Stephen Pollard identifies China's fingerprints on the whole mess, and Scott Burgess wonders why the Independent and the Guardian are shilling for genocidal imperialists.

All the while, Israeli Arabs say Finish off Nasarallah

Taxpayers obviously getting their money's worth

After the Terry Lane debacle and the shocking Reuters and their doctored photos, you'd think Mediawatch would have plenty of "meat" for their show, yeah?

They sure did!

They preferred to pick up on some dull roast lamb "scandal"

Oh, and they gave the "one man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter" lame cop out excuse to the pro-Hezbollah propagandising on Behind the News

It's Your ABC!

Whether you like it or not.

Now that's a wave of destruction that's easy on the eye!

In contrast to the idiots mentioned below, here's an Arab with damn good reason to fight Israel.

A weekend's worth of morons.

dunce.jpeg

Idiot Number 1

The "moderate" Muslims in Australia who seem to believe Hezbollah isn't a terrorist group.

Excellent work guys! That will surely convince sceptical non-Muslims that no true Muslim supports terrorism.

Idiot Number 2

My own chief minister, Jon Stanhope, for nominating David Hicks' dad as "Father of the Year"

Yep, out of all the candidates in the entire country, Stanhope thinks the father of a terrorism suspect is the most deserving.

Idiot Number 3

Mel Gibson, for his ridiculous views on the Holocaust.

Idiot Number 4

John Clark, for comparing Mel Gibson's ostracism for his Jew-hatin ways to McCarthyism.

Idiot Number 5

These guys, for marching off to their deaths purely to support the imperial motives of Iran.

Idiot Number 6

The puppet President of Iran, for this "solution".

"Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said Thursday the solution to the Middle East crisis was to destroy Israel, Iranian state media reported,"

I'm willing to bet Mahmoud, old boy, that instead of destroying countries, or people, we could achieve a far more lasting and satisfying "final solution" to the Middle East crisis by eliminating a religion. Specifically, yours. Care to try it?

Idiot Number 7

Indymedia just.....well....take a look for yourself.

Alternative to the mainstream media? Sure. In the way that drinking out of a toilet is an alternative to drinking from a cup.

All in all.... it's been a fun week.

Threat of the Century

Rob Schneider has vowed never to work with Mel Gibson again.

Yeah, I'm sure that'll really destroy Mel's career...

Age of Wonders

Lane_Terry.jpg

Marvel at the wonderful Fairfax publication known as the Sunday Age! Gasp as a lefty opinion writer gets suckered into an obvious hoax, mainly due to absolutely nil research! Chortle as said columnist, embarrassed by internet blog, offers his resignation!

Then...wonder why the heck the editor of the Age thought it best to keep the twit on.

The Sunday Age - not a newspaper, though it plays one on TV.

Beat your nuts while people read your magazine!

ducktales.jpg

Not content with destroying their terrorist groups, those perfidious Jews continue to outrage Islamists with this super-secret coded propaganda message, disguised as a theme song to a popular Disney tv series.

In reality, it seems to be about performing fellatio on Middle-Eastern deities....

Darn Yids!
