Drugs...I'm going to say Drugs
To continue my Doctor Who watching, I picked up Ghost Light.
Some observations.
- The hell? It makes no sense.
- Besides that, the "period" episodes of Dr Who date far better than the "sci-fi" ones, because the BBC can actually do convincing period pieces, whereas its spacey stuff tends to be hampered by the cardboard sets and dodgy looking aliens.
- The Doctor is being an absolute bastard to Ace for a good period of this episode. Talk about your emotional abuse!
- Oh. My. Gawd. Blatant lesbian overtones with Ace and Gwendoline giggling as they dress each other behind a curtain. *Shakes head* I certainly don't recall that when I watched it as a six year old.
