I'm heading up north (to ye olde Grafton, then on to Brisbane) for Xmas, so blogging will be light to non-existant for a while.
So have a Merry Xmas, Happy Hannukah, Kwaazy Kwanzaa and a solemn and dignified Ramadan.
If I was Michael Leunig, I'd also take the time to wish our "brother" Osama seasons tidings.
On Christmas Eve, in the Melbourne Age, another pundit, Michael Leunig, called for a national prayer for Osama bin Laden on Christmas Day. "It's a family day," Leunig explained, "and Osama's our relative."
But I'm not, and I hope he gets a very shit present.
AND ANOTHER THING...
Over at Chrenkoff's place I ask the question no Che-T-shirt-wearing hippy has ever answered to my satisfaction.
Posted by Quentin George at December 18, 2004 04:27 PMSorry to get in the way of your Simpsons quotery, but Ramadan finished in November this year.
And guess what question no Che-T-shirt-wearing hippy has ever answered to my satisfaction? "So what was Che's real first name?" Gee, at least learn that much about your idol.
Enjoy Christmas in Grafton. I've got to deal with fucken Casino - but at least there'll be a side trip to Red Rock.
