There's an election on in the ACT this weekend which has been somewhat overshadowed by the Federal one the week before.

Something piked my interest in the otherwise dull-as-dishwater campaign. The ads for the Canberra Liberals were authorised by "A Wilsmore".

The name sounded familiar, so I checked the website.

Sure enough, it's the son of my old PE teachers from Grafton High School.

I think he was in my elder sister's year at high school. (Either him or his brother).

Balky makes it big!

Also, Michael Balk, close family friend of mine is currently in a Hungry Jacks ad.

Apparently as well, his little brother has a long distance girlfriend who lives in Melbourne.

Actually, not sure why I wrote that...
